Liza left behind

Liza was not able to come with us to Italy, so my parents agreed to watch her for us. They enjoyed each other. Here are some pictures of her while she was with them:

And this last picture is just one that I like:

summer pictures

This summer we planted a little garden. We were a bit late to the gardening party, so it wouldn't be a huge surprise if we didn't get much out of it. But, it has been fun to watch so far, and we'll probably get at least something.

Here's an earlier picture of Liza watering the green beans.

and...yesterday some tomatoes finally appeared!

and of course, our radishes are doing the best of all

Finally, here's a picture of Liza to satisfy our parents.

She sure is cute

Liza didn't want me to take her picture this day. Someone put her shoes on the wrong feet but I won't name names.

We've had a great time this last week that Jordan has had off between classes. We only have this weekend and then it's back to school for Jordan! He'll have 2 classes and he'll begin work on his thesis.

Wednesday we went on a bike ride with Greg, Angie, and Ethan. Our intention was to ride to this park and let the kids play in the fountains, but when we got there the fountains were off. Ethan had a great time in the sprinklers that were watering the gardens though! Liza decided she didn't want to get wet.

Thursday, our neighbors Steve and Sarah came over for dinner with their 2 little girls. Liza helped me cook.

Last night we went to an air show type thing called Tattoo that the base was having just across the street from where we live. We walked over there with some friends and checked the place out for a little bit. There wasn't a whole lot to do there but Liza enjoyed playing with some of her friends. Later that night there were several fly overs and fireworks that we were able to see very well from our house.
