I finally took the pictures off of my camera and put some of them online. Look for new pictures in our web albums on Picasa. You can find new pictures in "The Office & Door," "Kitchen Cabinets," and "Heidi."

Somehow the office project (which had already turned into the door project) also turned into the "paint the kitchen cabinets and install new hardware project." It's going to look great when it's done.

Update

Last week Heidi was 16.5 inches each way. This week she is 17.5 inches tall and 18.5 inches long. We also finished up the exterior door trim. This week I started to put up some drywall around the door too, primarily so that we can leave Heidi in that room when we leave for the day. When we leave her in her crate she freaks out and cries and pees.

another week

Heidi is now 15.5 inches tall and 15 inches long. She didn't grow that much this week. We took her to a puppy playschool on Saturday morning and she had a good time running through tunnels and smelling other dogs.

The door now has trim around 2/3 of the outside. Somehow it's taking much longer than it should, but that's probably because we're still trying to keep our lives somewhat normal while this project is going on. The 2/3 look very good though.

Sarah and I got to watch a world record land speed track shot on Thursday from the space museum. It was really cool for about 5 seconds, and really cold for about 3 hours. We also went out to eat at Memories on Friday night and had a great time being out by ourselves. The entire meal was memorable(!), but their sweet potato fries are the best french fries I've ever had in my life.
